Position Summary
The Experience Manager plays a pivotal role in marketing, organizing, and executing private and public events throughout the winter and summer seasons. This role demands hands-on, on-site leadership of all event activities and personnel, ensuring flawless execution and superior engagement for all participants. Additionally, the Experience Manager is tasked with organizing and conducting internal and external sales meetings with designated teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Experiences Manager to design and deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Meticulously oversee every aspect of event planning and execution, ensuring high standards of service and aesthetics.
  • Promote experiences for ASPENX through various channels, providing prompt follow-up with clients and converting leads into sales.
  • Engage with the Senior Experiences Manager to develop new experiences, coordinating with partners and marketing teams.
  • Manage client relationships, offering customized solutions based on individual needs from inception to completion.
  • Assist in recruiting staff to facilitate event execution.
  • Oversee staff during events, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with key partners and brands to enhance event offerings.
  • Foster relationships with Aspen Skiing Company and Aspen Hospitality teams to ensure effective communication and execution across departments.
  • Provide feedback to management to improve guest experiences and address any immediate concerns.
  • Share insights on local mountains and current conditions.
  • Maintain awareness of departmental budgets and analyze financial trends.
  • Complete assigned tasks and assist other departments as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Preferred college degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a role focused on delivering high-quality guest service.
  • At least 2 years of experience in event management.
  • Sales experience is advantageous.
  • Management experience in an event context is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.

Work Environment
This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional kneeling and bending. Candidates should be able to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level. The role involves regular indoor work, with outdoor responsibilities that may include exposure to various weather conditions.
