Key Responsibilities
1. **Asset Inventory Management**: Maintain a precise inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
2. **Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure adherence to federal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
3. **License Monitoring**: Oversee software licenses to guarantee compliance and prevent unauthorized usage.
4. **Risk Assessment**: Identify and evaluate risks associated with IT asset and configuration management.
5. **Reporting**: Generate comprehensive reports and provide insights on asset utilization, compliance, and configuration modifications.
6. **Configuration Design**: Design, maintain, and implement hardware and software configurations for consistent deployment.
7. **Collaboration**: Work closely with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop engineering challenges.
8. **Standardization**: Develop and implement standardized image libraries and deployment policies for efficient desktop configuration.
9. **Record Maintenance**: Ensure the system of records has accurate documentation for Mobile, Asset, Software, and Change Management.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old and a U.S. Citizen.
- Candidates are required to obtain the necessary security clearance.
- Specialized experience equivalent to GS-13 level in the Federal Service is necessary.
