Job Title: Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained, repaired, and serviced to meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance activities of the fleet, including scheduling, planning, and execution.
  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and serviced.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and control maintenance budgets to ensure that costs are minimized and resources are optimized.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of technicians.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
