MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our microtransit fleet.
Responsibilities:- Manage and direct a team of fleet technicians, service workers, and cleaners to ensure timely and efficient maintenance of our vehicles.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and reports to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure parts and materials, and manage inventory levels.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and ensure that our maintenance operations meet their expectations.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Minimum of three years of experience in fleet maintenance management, preferably in a microtransit environment.
- Proven track record of managing and directing a team of employees.
- Experience working with a fleet of 85+ vehicles.
- Technical competence in light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including written and oral communication.
- Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook.
- CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement.
