Job Summary:

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our microtransit operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all contractual requirements are met, managing a budget for maintenance programs, and supervising a team of technicians and service workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct a team of technicians and service workers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Manage and control parts inventories, vendors, and suppliers to optimize maintenance operations
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports to management
  • Manage the financial and accounting aspects of fleet maintenance operations
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including clients and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of verifiable experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing a team of 10+ employees
  • Experience working with a fleet of 85+ vehicles in a microtransit environment
  • Previous experience in passenger transportation or a similar environment
  • Ability to manage and interface with clients
  • Technical competence with light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance
  • ASE or manufacturer's certifications a plus

What We Offer:

MV Transportation is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and offers a competitive salary range of $117,000 - $144,000.
