Responsibilities:- Manage all maintenance aspects of the fleet, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Manage a budget for the maintenance program and ensure effective use of resources.
- Supervise and direct a team of technicians, service workers, and cleaners, ensuring they have the necessary training and support to perform their duties.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and services.
- Develop and implement work schedules, projects, and assignments to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Manage the financial and accounting aspects of the fleet maintenance operation, including tracking and controlling parts inventories.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including written and oral reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including CDL class B with passenger and airbrake endorsement.
- Minimum of three years of verifiable experience in a similar role, preferably in a transit operation.
- Experience managing a team of 10+ employees, including fleet technicians, service workers, and cleaners.
- Experience working with a fleet of 85+ vehicles in a microtransit environment.
- Previous experience in passenger transportation, preferably in a similar environment.
- Ability to manage and interface with clients, including written and oral communication.
- Technical competence with light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of managing audits, PM schedules, and parts inventories.
