Description

The Ecommerce Governance and Experience team is responsible for maintaining a safe and trustworthy marketplace for users, sellers, and creators alike.

Our focus is on user satisfaction, and we work diligently on policies, regulations, and systems to ensure quality.

As an Anti-fraud Risk Analyst, your role will involve developing, enhancing, and overseeing business processes aimed at detecting and preventing fraudulent activities across various scenarios, including transactions, KYC, and seller-creator relationships.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Utilize investigative and analytical skills to monitor, audit, and evaluate potential fraudulent cases while consolidating anti-fraud regulations.
  • Design and implement effective workflows to identify characteristics of different fraud types, capture emerging risk types, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing tools, processes, and models related to fraud management.
  • Analyze trends and intelligence regarding fraudulent activities in local markets and develop monitoring systems to mitigate risks.
  • Establish key performance indicators and create detailed reporting models for effective tracking, reporting, and feedback on implemented measures.
  • Investigate fraud-related policies and develop robust enforcement processes to deter and penalize bad actors while ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on fraud policies and enforcement strategies, influencing key stakeholders.
  • Present findings and complex results to key stakeholders while managing the timelines of mitigation projects.
Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in areas such as Anti-fraud, Risk Management, Trust & Safety, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Strategy within the eCommerce or Tech industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in fields such as Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong data analysis and correlation skills, with the ability to navigate complex and unfamiliar data sets to derive insights.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization and driving cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and effectively communicating with individuals at all levels.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in data.
  • Proficiency in SQL and analytical tools (SAS, R, Python) is essential.
  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI and machine learning is advantageous.
