Job Overview:


The primary goal of all roles is to deliver exceptional service personally or to promptly direct requests to the relevant department manager.

Below is a summary of the key responsibilities associated with this position:

Key Responsibilities:


Assist in the operational planning of events by developing realistic action plans through event orders, manifests, and direct client communication.


Oversee daily concessions operations both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) during event and non-event days, including the opening and closing of concessions, inventory oversight, and equipment management.

Support the Banquet Manager in various tasks including scheduling, event order management, banquet ticketing, daily reporting, and associate performance reviews.

Manage the daily operations of banquet services.

Oversee all aspects of executing banquet functions.

In the absence of the Banquet Manager, lead, organize, and direct staff while ensuring high-quality service.

Assist in maintaining necessary inventories of equipment, food, and beverage items.

Manage payroll through staffing guides and timekeeping reports.

Coordinate functions with service staff.

Collaborate with the Stewarding Department to ensure service requirements are met.

Ensure proper setup for all functions.

Provide Banquet management with daily reports on groups and staff.

Demonstrate the ability to understand and complete all necessary paperwork, including consumption reports and safety checklists.

Consistently maintain and refine service standards.

Ensure adherence to corporate Food and Beverage systems and control procedures in all front-of-house operations.

Instruct and guide associates, agency staff, and volunteers on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.

Submit all departmental purchase requests to the Concessions and Beverage Manager prior to submission.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all concessions, bars, and related areas.

Qualifications:
Ensure consistent adherence to corporate Food and Beverage systems and control procedures in all front-of-house operations.

Guide and instruct associates, agency staff, and volunteers on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.

Submit all departmental purchase requests to the Concessions and Beverage Manager prior to submission.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all concessions, bars, and related areas.

Monitor department uniforms and forecast uniform consumption and purchasing schedules.


Assist with end-of-month inventories and collaborate with other department heads to maintain a consistent yet financially responsible inventory level.


Work with department managers to routinely review inventory control sheets to verify proper portion costs and ensure food and beverage quality standards are upheld.

Oversee all equipment and storage areas to guarantee proper function and cleanliness.

Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of retail areas and bars, ensuring compliance with event order specifications.


Maintain communication with all department heads throughout each function to ensure timely execution of events, quality service, and compliance with all applicable safety and health regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to provide additional event support as needed. May be required to supervise catered events or associates from other departments.


Adhere to all accounting procedures and product controls, including accurate and timely reporting of consumption sheets and purchase orders, ensuring full compliance with corporate audit procedures.

Assist in departmental scheduling, forecasting, and budgeting for all concessions and bar events.

Uphold and enforce Power of One standards through daily reminders, training, observation, and follow-up.

Participate in daily and weekly food and beverage meetings.

Understand and comply with all applicable liquor laws.

Perform additional duties as necessary, such as cleaning up spills, relocating equipment, addressing special guest requests, or assisting with other departmental functions when required.
