  • Consult with the Event Manager or designated lead for specific instructions regarding event functions and assignments.
  • Deliver menu items to guests promptly and courteously, aligning service with the event schedule.
  • Clear the event space of all items post-event and ensure proper storage.
  • Accurately take, enter, and deliver food and beverage orders.
  • Prepare and replenish beverages, including coffee and tea, and set up condiments as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the service area, including washing glassware and separating utensils.
  • Adhere to cleanliness standards throughout service, ensuring a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the event layout, including table arrangements and room capacity.
  • Understand and anticipate guest service needs, responding promptly to inquiries.
  • Address guest complaints effectively, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Reset work areas and tables according to established standards.
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as required.
  • Stay informed about scheduled activities and events.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in event or restaurant service is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification are required.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences is essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs is necessary.
