Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic HR Leader to join our team at Aramco Gulf Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of organization development/HR tools, policies, frameworks, and practices that guarantee and support the existence of competitive human capital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Direction
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Policies & Planning unit.
    • Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the managed unit.
  • Organizational Development
    • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of organization development/HR tools, policies, frameworks, and practices.
    • Work with HR colleagues to provide support to business managers with specific OD interventions and ad-hoc queries.
  • Event Management and Facilitation
    • Oversee the delivery and facilitation of events, workshops, and programs.
  • Process Development and Improvement
    • Oversee the development of processes and frameworks to ensure the development of quality activities and to measure and report on the effectiveness of OD interventions.
  • Relationship Building and Communication
    • Oversee the development of strong working relationships with the wider HR team and business managers to ensure the OD activities are well embedded in the business.
    • Oversee the delivery of effective communications toolkit on performance management programs and policies to the people.
  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Oversee the implementation of compensation structure through job analysis and evaluations, employee feedback, and external industry analysis.
    • Oversee the benchmarking process of benefits with other comparable organizations.
  • HR Transformation and Improvement
    • Oversee the implementation of HR transformation programs to improve the effectiveness of HR service delivery and cost efficiency for the organization.
  • Financial Management
    • Acquire funds for the end-to-end unit's activities and manage the assigned budget.
  • Leadership and Accountability
    • Carry out leadership responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the managed unit.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement operational excellence (OE) requirements within the assigned area.
    • Coach staff in expectations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Contribute to the processes of continuous improvement for the area managed and the organization more widely.
Requirements
  • 8 to 10 years related experience including 1-2 years at a supervisory level, covering HR OD operations in oil & gas sector organization.
  • Academic background includes a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
