Position Summary

The Sales Executive for Commercial Flooring Solutions is responsible for driving growth, revenue, and profitability across a Multi-State Region. Key responsibilities include: generating customer leads, prospecting, and securing sales within the designated territory, fostering revenue growth and market presence, managing expenses, and nurturing relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee revenue generation and profitability within the assigned Region.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to establish pricing strategies and discount structures.
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial flooring contractors, general contractors, distributors, and architects throughout the territory.
  • Enhance product visibility through presentations, phone outreach, and email communications.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to strategize advertising efforts and gather insights on products and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance to commercial flooring contractors in the Region.
  • Represent the company at both national and local trade exhibitions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in flooring product sales management.
  • Proven ability to lead and implement marketing strategies relevant to the commercial sector within the region.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a profit center, achieving regional sales targets, utilizing forecasting, preparing annual budgets, and managing sales and marketing expenses while adapting to changes as necessary.
  • Ability to quickly establish trustworthy relationships with current and prospective clients at various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in addressing customer concerns promptly, investigating issues, and proposing effective solutions.
