About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our faculty as a ranked renewable term teaching professor of petroleum engineering practice. This non-tenure track position is designed to provide a unique opportunity for an individual with a strong background in well completions and stimulation to contribute to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and instruct undergraduate and graduate courses related to well completions and associated fields.
  • Supervise student projects and research initiatives, providing valuable industry insights to enrich student learning experiences and capstone projects.
  • Offer professional career advice and lead our ABET accreditation and continuous improvement process for Petroleum Engineering and GeoEnergy Engineering.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure our curriculum remains relevant and forward-thinking, actively participating in departmental outreach.
Requirements

We are looking for an educator with a Ph.D. in Petroleum or Geological Engineering or a related discipline to enhance our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a track record of excellence and at least ten years of industry experience, demonstrating a strong capability to teach and mentor students effectively and exhibit exemplary communication skills.
