Position Overview: The Children's Recovery Center is seeking empathetic Licensed Practical Nurses to assist adolescents in overcoming challenges related to mental health and substance use. Under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, our nurses deliver both direct and indirect nursing care, which encompasses monitoring vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, alongside executing various nursing tasks while ensuring quality health care for patients. These responsibilities align with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, as well as the facility's and ODMHSAS's core values, policies, and professional standards.

Employment Type and Compensation:
  • Full-Time Position
  • Annual Salary Structure:
    • Licensed Practical Nurse I: $50,500.00
    • Licensed Practical Nurse II: $55,000.00
    • Licensed Practical Nurse III: $60,000.00
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • PRN Opportunities Available
Additional Benefits: In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we offer extra compensation for shifts outside of standard business hours. These shift differentials are added to your base pay for evening, night, weekend, or holiday work.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse III: Must possess an Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse and have three years of practical nursing experience.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse II: Must hold an Oklahoma license as a licensed practical nurse and have one year of practical nursing experience.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse I: Must have a valid permanent Oklahoma license.
Special Requirements:
  • Applicants must complete a physical examination upon a conditional offer of employment and meet the physical requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and pushing/pulling a maximum force of 25 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license is required for job-related travel.

Facility Overview: The Children's Recovery Center of Oklahoma (CRC) serves as the ODMHSAS treatment center for youth aged 12 to 17, providing community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma-related conditions.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Applicants for safety-sensitive positions must undergo urinalysis for drug testing upon a conditional offer of employment. Appointment to a safety-sensitive position is contingent upon a negative drug test result.
