We are collaborating with a leading architectural and engineering design firm to identify a qualified Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources. Please review the details below to understand the requirements and responsibilities associated with this role.

Location: This position can be based in either Norman, OK or Oklahoma City, OK.

Essential Qualifications for the Civil Engineer - Water Resources:

#1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water resource engineering.

#2. Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or the capability to obtain one.

#3. Proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.

#4. No more than 3 job changes in the past decade.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • Must be a registered Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, with the ability to secure registration in New Mexico and Texas.
  • At least 5 years of specialized experience in managing water resources.
  • Familiarity with software tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Proven leadership abilities, capable of inspiring teams and fostering effective communication.
  • Ability to delegate tasks strategically and empower team members.
  • Thorough understanding of environmental regulations and workplace safety standards.
  • Skill in aligning team efforts towards common objectives and establishing a clear mission.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in risk management, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential challenges.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on the long-term vision of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate site conditions and design resilient systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with non-engineering stakeholders and communicate technical plans clearly.

Additional Requirements:

  • This is an in-office role with potential for hybrid work arrangements.
  • Visa sponsorships are acceptable; however, Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not permitted.
