About the Role

The Clinical Services Director provides strategic leadership and oversight to the clinical services programs at University Behavioral Health of Denton. This role is responsible for ensuring that programs meet the needs of the community and align with the facility's performance goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and organize programs of clinical services based on specialized patient populations.
  • Maintain awareness of community and market-related activities, including knowledge of other providers, local payers, and the political climate related to mental health.
  • Provide a broad vision in the development of programs and the evaluation of current services offered.
  • Strategically solve problems that encompass the larger view of the organization, and establish goals by utilizing an understanding of organizational dynamics in planning and problem solving.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field; Masters Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years experience in advanced clinical/management practice.
  • Appropriate state licensure in mental health. LPC, LMSW, or LCSW preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
