This position operates with minimal oversight, allowing for significant initiative and independent judgment. You will work under the clinical and administrative guidance of the Medical Director and/or other supervising physicians.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Proficient understanding of medical and nursing methods and procedures, including relevant laws and regulations governing public health and hospital operations.

Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for conducting medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments.

Familiarity with the development, implementation, and documentation of case histories and individualized care plans.

Competence in interpreting laboratory analyses and x-rays.

Skill in patient care and the use of medical diagnostic and treatment tools and equipment.

Ability to examine, diagnose, and treat both physical and mental health disorders.
Capability to supervise the work of others providing medical care to patients.
Ability to interact appropriately with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Proficiency in presenting ideas clearly and concisely in both written and oral communications.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate medical records.
Ability to collaborate effectively with professionals and paraprofessionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Ability to work independently and adapt to assigned responsibilities.
