Position Overview: Assistant to Loan Officer - Summit Funding
We offer a competitive starting pay rate ranging from $17 to $21 per hour, depending on experience, along with opportunities for monthly performance-based bonuses.
This role is ideal for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual eager to embark on a career in the mortgage and finance sector. The Assistant to the Loan Officer plays a crucial role in providing administrative and marketing assistance to a busy Loan Officer, contributing to business growth, and helping clients achieve their homeownership aspirations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the Loan Officer's calendar to ensure optimal scheduling and task management.
- Oversee and facilitate communication on behalf of the Loan Officer as required.
- Identify and follow up on leads, coordinating appointments with clients and referral partners.
- Prepare prospective borrowers prior to their meetings with the Loan Officer.
- Send thank-you notes to clients and referral partners on behalf of the Loan Officer.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including maintaining a database of referral partners and executing marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the Loan Officer to develop innovative marketing campaign ideas.
- Manage and update social media platforms and marketing efforts.
- Organize events such as Happy Hours and Lunch and Learns with clients, referral partners, and team members.
- Act as a professional representative of the Loan Officer's team, maintaining a positive and engaging demeanor.
- Support the Loan Officer in assembling loan applications and ensuring all documentation is complete for loan closure.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in a professional office setting, with a strong emphasis on customer service; experience in mortgage or finance is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service with a positive outlook.
- Capability to meet deadlines and ensure accountability among team members.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Availability for a standard full-time work week of 40 hours, with potential for overtime as needed.
- Consistent work history is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
