Position Title: Senior Automation Account Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulating control strategies for sales presentations, identifying new business opportunities, and supplying clients with relevant product information and services.
- Overseeing client pricing structures, accounts receivable management, client communications, profit and loss reporting, quality assurance support, and participation in networking events and industry trade shows.
- Building and nurturing relationships with both potential and existing clients. Actively seeking and investigating new project opportunities through various channels, including direct outreach, industry events, and leveraging existing networks.
- Collaborating with branch management, project leaders, and engineering teams to continuously enhance commercial account programs to achieve strategic goals.
- Utilizing analytical and solution-oriented approaches to drive sales growth, volume, and profitability for assigned accounts within the local market.
- Preparing and presenting tailored client presentations.
- Creating, drafting, and reviewing client proposal documents, encompassing both financial and technical components, utilizing EMCOR Service/Mesa Energy Systems standard templates and pricing frameworks.
- Driving sales to meet defined margin targets and expand market presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Direct Digital Controls for HVAC systems and/or Building Automation.
- Technical expertise in HVAC, lighting controls, and application engineering environments.
- Preferred experience with automation systems such as Distech, Alerton, JCI Metasys, and/or Delta Controls.
- Exceptional customer presentation abilities and proven sales skills.
- Strong financial understanding, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
- Experience in developing comprehensive technical and cost proposals.
- Ability to make independent decisions is essential.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Competitive, articulate, goal-oriented, ambitious, and energetic individual.
