Human Resources Director

The Columbia Presbyterian Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (Life Plan Community) that provides a compassionate Christian ministry dedicated to enriching the quality of life for seniors of all faiths.

We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to plan, coordinate, and follow through on all aspects of PCSC's human resources practices and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in human resources administration/management and supervision, knowledge of South Carolina and federal human resources laws, regulations, and guidelines, HRIS and intermediate computer skills, and a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and follow through on all aspects of PCSC's human resources practices and processes.
  • Support PCSC's business needs to ensure proper implementation of company objectives and promote the organization's values.
  • Recruitment, retention, employee relations, training and development, and performance and compliance management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in human resources administration/management and supervision.
  • Knowledge of South Carolina and federal human resources laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • HRIS and intermediate computer skills.
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SC DHEC staffing regulations regarding assisted living and long-term care.
  • Three years of experience in the senior living field.
