Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Finance and the Director of Stores to formulate annual sales and margin strategies by store/channel.
  • Develop seasonal purchasing plans to ensure optimal investment levels by channel and provide financial insights for the Buyer.
  • Work closely with Design, Merchandising, and Wholesale to implement brand strategies across channels and throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Influence product and assortment strategies through collaboration with Design and Merchandising, addressing DTC needs based on historical data, store feedback, and strategic opportunities.
  • Lead planning, purchasing, and allocation efforts to enhance in-season sales, margins, and inventory management, maximizing opportunities by channel.
  • Oversee the planning, purchasing, and execution processes for new store openings.
  • Engage in cross-functional initiatives to promote process improvements, standardization, and best practices that align with the complexities of our business.
  • Foster effective working relationships, building strong partnerships and influencing cross-functional leaders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning, purchasing, and allocation; experience is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of planning, open-to-buy (OTB), inventory management, merchandising, assortment building, store planning, and allocation concepts, with an understanding of financial and operational impacts.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a strategic approach to business.
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage workflow and excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus.
