ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Vice President of Human Resources (SVP of HR) plays a pivotal role within The Ladders, collaborating with a team of passionate professionals committed to our vision. This leader will drive strategic initiatives that align with our mission to enhance the employee experience and organizational culture. The SVP of HR will work closely with executive leadership to cultivate an innovative and inclusive workplace, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.

The SVP of HR will oversee all aspects of global human resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits management, compensation strategies, training and development, and compliance with employment regulations. This position is essential in crafting and executing HR strategies that support the organization's objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with The Ladders' mission and values across all regions.
  • Lead a team of HR professionals to enhance the administrative functions and support our workforce.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior management on organizational and leadership matters.
  • Design and promote a robust talent management program that fosters high performance and supports employee development.
  • Encourage a transparent and equitable workplace culture that meets the needs of a diverse and dynamic organization.
  • Advise senior leadership on best practices to ensure The Ladders remains a desirable workplace.
  • Continuously enhance compensation and benefits programs to reward and motivate our workforce.
  • Utilize change management strategies to communicate and implement significant organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on high-impact projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and development for leaders in areas such as cultural alignment and change management.
  • Support regional HR leaders in addressing employee relations matters and provide conflict resolution guidance.
  • Stay informed about market trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Manage the HR budget and financial metrics effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the mission of The Ladders. The SVP of HR should possess extensive experience in managing a multi-site international organization and demonstrate the ability to build and support a diverse team. Key qualifications include:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources or operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in developing organizational structures and strategic workforce planning.
  • Expertise in HR functions including talent management, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across various regions.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership to implement HR initiatives effectively.
  • Knowledge of organizational development concepts and leadership development practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to navigate complex interpersonal situations with sound judgment.
