Job Title: Senior Technical Support Specialist - Research Systems
About the Role:
The University of California San Francisco seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to researchers and staff across various departments.
About You:
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in system analysis, data migration, and technical documentation. The ideal candidate should have experience working with multitenant research technology infrastructure and be able to learn new systems and applications quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance to researchers and staff on ARS Applications, Products, and Services.
- Develop and maintain product and system documentation to support users.
- Work closely with various teams and departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
- Manage and resolve user support requests efficiently.
- Assist with requests for system features or enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical support and system analysis.
- Experience working with multitenant research technology infrastructure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
