Job Summary

The Data and Administrative Support Specialist will be responsible for the daily operations of gift processing and acknowledgments. This role requires the ability to work independently and use judgment and discretion in the processing of transactions and handling of funds. The incumbent will interact extensively with philanthropy staff and donors, and frequently with the Financial Services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and acknowledge gifts and donations
  • Manage and maintain accurate and detailed computerized records
  • Perform mathematical calculations and maintain confidentiality
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, volunteers, supervisors, and the public
  • Communicate with donors in a courteous, tactful, and professional manner
Requirements
  • Graduation from high school, some college preferred
  • Experience with database software or financial recordkeeping
  • Ability to work independently and use judgment and discretion
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
