The 33 Seaport Hotel NYC has an immediate openings for an experienced, energetic, outgoing and customer service oriented to fill the position of Restaurant Supervisor. In this role, you will be monitoring servers, bartenders and buspersons/runners adherence to all service standards. Also supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in needs of service.

What you will be doing each day:Assist manager to establish and monitor side work duty completion.

Maintain bank to Crescent standards.
Read daily communication sheets from previous shift and prepare one for the following shift. Check floor plan for appropriate coverage.
Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up. Check service stands and aisle areas. Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up.
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Communicate daily with restaurant manager with regard to special events, house counts, etc.
Assist restaurant manager in conducting menu classes and taste panels.
Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to use point of sale. Ability to lift/carry weight up to 50 pounds. Ability to push/and pull carts of products weighing up to 150 pounds. Tips Certified preferred.

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $ $25.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.Qualifications
