Role Overview:


The Junior Financial Systems Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the corporate financial systems, ensuring precise and timely consolidated reporting of financial and commercial data.

This position involves the administration and management of various applications and related processes, utilizing a blend of analytical, functional, and technical skills. The coordinator will report to the Financial Systems Manager and work closely with the Accounting and Finance teams.


The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in financial systems, with experience in managing multiple applications, including ERP systems (such as Oracle NetSuite), expense management tools, and financial software optimization at an enterprise level.

Familiarity with financial process best practices and effective communication skills across all organizational levels are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Financial Systems Manager to assist with administrative tasks across various financial systems, including the development and oversight of policies and processes that leverage these applications.

Ensure controls are in place for the creation, review, maintenance, preservation, and auditing of all data within the financial systems, including project and account additions, organizational changes, and system roles and access management.
Execute modifications to existing configurations for core financial and business systems as directed, focusing on NetSuite, expense management tools, and tax software.
Assist in the integration and administration of Finance and Accounting technology systems, partnering with local and corporate Finance, project leadership, and HR to deliver exceptional systems integrations and reporting of financial and managerial data.
Foster strong relationships with Accounting, Finance, IT, Operations, and Business Intelligence teams to collaboratively identify and resolve issues.
Provide operational support to the finance and accounting teams throughout the fiscal year, particularly during month-end close and audit cycles.
Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards, including gathering end-user requirements and building reports in compliance with management approvals and controls.
Enhance financial system user communities by creating enterprise-wide training, communications, and presentations to improve proficiency and manage change.
Assist with corporate financial business system audits and compliance with SOX requirements.
Identify and escalate potential solutions to the Financial Systems Manager for observed issues with processes, configurations, and data.
Support testing of enhancements by developing testing plans and executing upgrades.
Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to automate reporting environments, enabling self-service review of financials and key performance metrics.
Drive standardized and centralized finance processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
2+ years of progressive experience with NetSuite.
Proficiency with core SaaS financial tools or similar applications, particularly Oracle NetSuite.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Strong project management and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with integration platforms and/or REST API connections (custom API development).
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, or VB, SuiteScript.
Knowledge of SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteCloud Development Framework.
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles (US GAAP).
Experience with Salesforce (customer relationship management tool, contract storage) is a plus.
Knowledge of OneStream is advantageous but not required.
