Job Title: Director of Philanthropy

About the Role:

Northaven Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Philanthropy to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading our fundraising efforts and developing strategic plans to achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support our annual operations and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with our Executive Director and Board of Trustees to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Manage and execute direct mail fundraising campaigns, including content creation and distribution.
  • Lead the development and submission of grant proposals to secure funding from foundations and government agencies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors and stakeholders to foster long-term support.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to our team to ensure successful execution of fundraising initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related work experience.
  • Over 5 years of fundraising experience in a nonprofit organization, with a demonstrated track record of building and expanding a resource development program.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse donor base.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient with fundraising software and databases, with experience with Little Green Light and CRM software a plus.
