Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at Acrisure as a Brokerage Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Trucking brokerage operations, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients post-sale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering exceptional service to clients after the sale.
  • Collaborate closely with Underwriters and underwriting assistants at the carrier level.
  • Input data and rate quotes into carrier portals focused on trucking and transportation.
  • Facilitate the quoting and activation of Premium Finance Agreements as per client requests.
  • Order necessary inspections at the time of binding, following up as required.
  • Manage midterm change requests in coordination with retail agents and carriers.
  • Request quotes and binders from carriers, ensuring timely delivery to retail agents.
  • Review policies for accuracy against carrier-generated quotes and binders.
  • Maintain a diary for tracking missing items during the binding process.
  • Complete Surplus Lines Tax Forms and provide them to clients.
  • Collaborate with the internal accounting team to determine outstanding balances from insurance agents.
  • Document all communications between clients and insurance companies for record-keeping.
  • Oversee the renewal process by obtaining and delivering quotes to clients.
  • Create and modify documents using Word, Excel, Adobe, and Image Right.
  • Support team efforts by assisting with work overflow and achieving related results.
  • Perform various clerical functions as needed.
  • Address requests for information and data promptly.
  • Resolve administrative issues and inquiries efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of transportation coverages including Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage, Motor Truck Cargo, Umbrella, Contingent Cargo, and Contingent Liability.
  • Proficient in relevant software, particularly Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment operations.
  • Understanding of clerical and administrative procedures, including filing and data entry.
  • Candidates should possess a valid license and have a minimum of three years of related insurance experience or training.
  • Prior experience with trucking and transportation insurance companies is highly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and general office writing skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in analyzing information and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Image Right and IMS systems is advantageous.
