Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Insurance Broker Associate to join our Atlanta, GA team. As a key member of our team, you will support the clerical and administrative processes, manage a Broker's book, and assist in placing complex Excess & Surplus (E&S) property risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Build, expand, and solidify relationships with clients at all levels, leading resources to address client needs, including risks and underwriting or policy issues.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy
    • Analyze market information to develop, design, and implement creative strategies for clients.
  • New Business Development
    • Develop and successfully acquire new business revenue from new and existing clients.
  • Market Prospecting
    • Prospect sectors and market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services.
  • Knowledge Management
    • Retain knowledge of all markets available to maximize opportunities to negotiate placements.
  • Book of Business Management
    • Service the designated book of business as it relates to marketing, administration, and sales.
  • Process Improvement
    • Monitor, identify, and develop new methods for processes and procedures.
  • Compliance
    • Maintain compliance with Quality Control guidelines.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from Four-Year College or University
  • Skills and Experience
    • Sales and production driven mentality
    • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Degree in insurance related discipline
    • A minimum of two (2) years of insurance experience
    • Active insurance P&C state license
    • Experience with excess & surplus lines
