Job Description

This Director position is responsible for building, developing, and managing the Revenue Management Team at Wells Enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert providing strategic pricing process, system, and tools leadership, guidance, management, and training.
  • Drive pricing strategies from concept to implementation, executing strategies that lead to optimized sales, profit, and customer segment penetration.
  • Influence key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of new pricing strategies.
  • Establish and monitor key metrics, improving performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead strategic and tactical planning processes, including financial projections, competitive benchmarking, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Understand cost structures and profitability drivers for the overall business, relevant classes of trade, and specific customer deals.
  • Help build the skills of the regional sales team in relation to building value propositions that support value-based pricing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or math; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant pricing experience, with experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) and pricing strategies.
  • Experience utilizing various pricing software packages is a plus.
Skills
  • Strong grasp of pricing concepts and applications, as well as overall marketing knowledge.
  • Excellent project management, quantitative, and modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to condense complex information.
Working Conditions

This position will report to the Sr Dir Sales Planning & Customer Investment and will have direct and indirect reports.
