About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aftermarket Marketing Consultant to join our Earthmoving Division at Caterpillar. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and participating in projects focused on growing Earthmoving product aftermarket sales on repair and rebuild options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closely collaborate with Caterpillar aftermarket commercial/marketing teams and dealer marketing/sales teams to grow rebuild or repair service sales.
  • Develop and align marketing strategies with rebuild or repair growth goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
  • Establish and maintain metrics to monitor and review the effectiveness of existing marketing strategies; suggesting necessary interventions for improvement.
  • Maintain effective internal communications in the marketing department to discuss and align the marketing strategy to changing scenarios.
  • Lead projects to develop solutions that align with repair and rebuild options.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies and the ability to impact decisions within and outside your own organization.
  • Effective communication skills to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Problem-solving experience that demonstrates your knowledge and ability to apply approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems.
  • Demonstrated customer focus that leverages your knowledge of the values and practices that align customer and dealer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and the ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior project leadership experience.
  • The ability to leverage data analytics analysis and visualization tools such as Snowflake.
