Contract Duration:
3-month contract with potential for extension.
Required Education/Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the insurance sector, with a solid understanding of customer service and billing practices in the insurance industry. Familiarity with health insurance is advantageous.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will provide customer support for Health & Benefits products under considerable guidance and direction.
Utilizing established protocols, you will ensure positive customer relations and address claims and complaints in a fair and effective manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage correspondence through email with internal partners, clients, and insurance providers.
- Acquire and apply knowledge of COBRA to address inquiries and resolve complex issues.
- Achieve individual and team performance metrics.
- Document and maintain all COBRA-related records in accordance with service agreements.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with clients, participants, carriers, and internal partners.
Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will possess an Associate degree.
1 year of experience in the insurance field, along with knowledge of customer service and billing in the insurance industry, is a plus.
