Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Management:
- Supervise a designated book of business, prioritizing both growth and client retention.
- Engage in consultative discussions with clients and prospects to ensure their coverage requirements are met.
- Sales and Customer Service:
- Generate, quote, and sell Personal Insurance products to both new and existing clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service within set timelines to maintain client relationships and foster referrals.
- Documentation and Processing:
- Manage endorsements and prepare necessary insurance documentation.
- Build and sustain professional relationships with insurance carriers and clients.
- Assist with various tasks as needed, contributing to personal and professional growth within the role.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer service or account management in the insurance sector.
- Licensing: Must possess a Property/Casualty License.
- Familiarity with insurance products, documentation, and their applications.
- Competence in computer skills, with a preference for experience in Applied & EPIC software.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Positive demeanor in a dynamic work environment.
- Commitment to ongoing education; a college degree is preferred.
- Excellent decision-making abilities, capable of acting promptly and methodically.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, even under pressure.
