About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontract Administrator to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
  • Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.
  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
  • May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • 4 years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management).
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance.
Desirable Skills
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Working knowledge of acquisition policies with associated knowledge of FAR/DFAR/LMAP requirements.
  • Experience with supply chain activities to include procurement systems, production schedules, and IPT structures.
  • Hard worker with a positive attitude and a high willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of supplier quality, finance, and engineering as they relate to subcontract management.
  • Detail and teamwork-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrated a sense of urgency, ownership of tasks, and accountable.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to generate and interpret data into meaningful metrics.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
