About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Subcontract Administrator at Lockheed Martin, a leading aerospace and defense company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and manage subcontract specifications, statements of work, and negotiate requirements and scope.
  • Initiate the acquisition process, soliciting RFPs, reviewing supplier proposals, negotiating and administering contracts, and managing supplier performance.
  • Prevent and mitigate supplier cost, schedule, and quality performance issues.
  • Research and evaluate procurement sources and qualifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a US DoD SECRET clearance.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Familiarity with FAR procedures and government contracting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to change quickly and prioritizing workload to meet program/customer needs.
