Senior Credit Solutions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Solutions Manager to join our team at First Citizens Bank. As a key member of our Credit Solutions group, you will be responsible for managing lending/credit relationships with a wide range of clients, including Consumer Internet & Enterprise Software groups.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Structuring, Underwriting, and Closing Process: You will lead the structuring, underwriting, and closing of credit solutions for assigned prospects and clients, ensuring successful outcomes through effective engagement with Relationship Management, clients/prospects, Credit Admin, Legal partners, and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Manage Assigned Portfolio: You will manage an assigned portfolio of borrowing relationships, reviewing information, evaluating risk, and engaging with clients to build relationships with appropriate stakeholders. You will communicate internally to recommend and execute on responses to changing situations for clients/across the portfolio broadly, ensuring that portfolio management practices meet SVB standards.
- Team Development and Subject Matter Expertise: You will engage in team development, including collaboration and coaching of Associates who support the team. You will also develop and demonstrate subject matter expertise within the team, including market, sector, and competitive trends, business models, lending models, and making the group more scalable through optimizing how we conduct business and manage the portfolio.
- Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience OR High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Strong financial modeling/analysis, memo writing, debt structuring, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to engage and build trust with clients independently. Advanced knowledge of portfolio management practices, including expertise in evaluating risk and managing changing situations.
