Your Role

This full-time, salaried position reports directly to the General Manager. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the Tasting Room, ensuring that our team delivers the outstanding guest experience that pFriem is celebrated for. We are looking for a leader who is organized, experienced, and passionate about fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in managing all facets of Tasting Room operations, including staff oversight, hiring, and scheduling.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Operate in compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
  • Manage inventory of beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and related supplies.
  • Coordinate monthly training sessions for staff on beer and food.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and other human resource functions.
  • Oversee shifts, making daily decisions to support staff while maintaining quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Promote safe work practices to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Update training and development plans for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
  • Monitor daily operations to uphold food quality and cleanliness.
  • Act as a champion for Tasting Room cleanliness and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of management experience in a high-end gastropub or similar setting.
  • Valid food and alcohol licensing.
  • Strong passion and knowledge of craft beer, food, and hospitality.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain a fast-paced work environment.
  • Calm problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with the capacity to motivate and lead effectively.
  • Experience in event management.
  • Solid references are required.
