Group/Division

With over 40 years of experience in semiconductor process control, chipmakers worldwide rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production swiftly and cost-effectively.

Driving the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, seeking the best and brightest research scientists, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers.

The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) offers market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for cutting-edge IC manufacturing.

Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on BBP products to identify yield-critical defects for process debugging and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes.

BBP flagship products include the 29xx and 39xx series, leveraging Broadband Plasma technology to detect a wide range of defects with exceptional sensitivity at the optical inspection speeds required for inline defect monitoring.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for innovative IC manufacturing.

Logic, foundry, and memory customers rely on BBP products to identify yield-critical defects for process debugging and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes.

You will be an integral member of our highly integrated multi-disciplinary team of software, systems, applications, and algorithm engineers.
Oversee the development of software solutions for various wafer inspection systems and product offerings.

Collaborate with diverse engineering and business teams, as well as customers, to document product requirements, integrate features, and validate our unique solutions.

Plan and manage breakthroughs, feature interdependencies, project timelines, and the overall quality of our product initiatives.
Evaluate risks and implement project work with the urgency required to deliver business value.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with globally located teams, including marketing, engineering, manufacturing, service, field teams, and customers, to resolve product issues and support revenue and profit realization.

Demonstrate business acumen with a clear understanding of value propositions, feature capabilities, and how our solutions excel in the marketplace.

Lead taskforces, facilitate effective technical discussions with engineers, and appreciate key design decisions and the underlying software architectures and frameworks.

Actively contribute to the integration of Software and Hardware solutions that meet product and engineering specifications and requirements.
Inspire, empower, and influence team members to achieve excellence in quality, reliability, usability, and capability.
Address conflicts and eliminate obstacles for the team to focus on improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Must be an excellent teammate with strong leadership, critical thinking, effective communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong technical capability and risk management with a deep understanding of business objectives.
Experience with New Product Introduction or Product Development from inception to delivery.
Experience articulating progress and impact through relevant key performance indicators.
Familiarity with Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall development methodologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with various customers and influence teams without direct authority.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical Program/Project Management experience or Engineering Management experience or Technical Leadership in software-enabled products or solutions required.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5 years of practical experience.
Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 3 years of practical experience.
PMP or Agile certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with the semiconductor industry and wafer fabrication process flow is a plus.
