We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to oversee significant construction initiatives from inception to completion. Your expertise will be pivotal in steering projects through various phases, ensuring excellence at every stage. Your leadership and communication capabilities will be essential for cultivating strong relationships and guiding the project team effectively.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive Major Projects: Lead new project endeavors, encompassing proposal creation, scheduling, and cost estimation. Your leadership will be instrumental in business development and shaping future prospects.
  • Innovate Project Execution: Pave the way in design-build, design-assist, and other progressive project delivery techniques, transforming project execution methodologies.
  • Manage the Bidding Process: Oversee the bidding process meticulously, ensuring comprehensive detail coverage and proactive risk management, establishing new benchmarks for precision.
  • Expertise in Estimation: Utilize your knowledge in conceptual estimation and unit costs to prepare and manage detailed estimates that steer project success.
  • Develop Protective Contracts: Create strong contracts that safeguard the company while facilitating new opportunities, leveraging your understanding of contract terms to resolve issues effectively.
  • Lead Project Management: Supervise all facets of project management, including estimation, procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting, addressing challenges with proactive solutions.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency: Manage permits, inspections, and procurement processes smoothly to maintain project timelines and schedules.
  • Foster Strong Relationships: Build enduring connections with project teams, clients, design teams, and subcontractors, leading collaborative success in OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) interactions.
  • Optimize Resource Utilization: Implement construction technology, sustainability practices, and lean methodologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate On-Site: Work closely with Superintendents and field management to streamline site operations and address field challenges.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide and mentor project staff, focusing on their professional growth and development, inspiring top-tier talent through effective leadership.
  • Promote Company Culture: Uphold the organization's values and standards with integrity, fostering a positive and ethical workplace environment.
  • Advocate for Safety: Champion the company's safety culture, contribute to safety policy formulation, and actively engage in safety meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience & Impact: Over 10 years of progressive construction experience in the Advanced Technology sector, with a proven history of managing diverse projects and clients.
  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as OSHA 10, LEED AP, and/or DBIA are beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and estimating software.
  • Leadership Abilities: Outstanding communication and team leadership skills.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in construction and project management, with a history of completing science and technology projects.
