We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Maintenance Specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency, possess exceptional multitasking abilities, and maintain organization in a dynamic work setting. This role is classified as hourly, nonexempt, and at-will, with full shift availability and potential for overtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize various hand and power tools to assess, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, coils, and compressors.
  • Engage with clients respectfully and compassionately, providing clear communication regarding services performed and recommendations for repairs or replacements.
  • Record services rendered and suggestions made by completing necessary forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Adhere to the quality and safety standards set forth by Moore Home Services in all tasks.
  • Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities, both internal and external.
  • Achieve sales targets and metrics.
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in system setup.
  • Possess practical knowledge in brazing, zoning, mini-splits, and e-pumps.
  • Understand the operation of various HVAC systems and their components, as well as the overall functionality of the systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Analytical mindset, with a focus on quality and results.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and support various business areas.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regular use of hands, feet, and auditory senses is required.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of objects weighing between 10-75 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work is conducted in residential settings, including attics, garages, crawl spaces, and roofs.
  • Frequent standing, squatting, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Moderate exposure to physical risks.
  • Occasional climbing of ladders and maintaining balance.
