About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing general preventative and reactive maintenance and repairs of all equipment and building-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned building(s).
  • Inspect building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
  • Complete maintenance and repair records as the need arises.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
  • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe manner and follow prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
  • Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Proven experience as a HVAC technician; minimum of three years.
  • Mobile maintenance experience highly preferred.
  • Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair as well as CFC Certification.
