Position Overview

Hoyle Tanner is seeking a dedicated and experienced Survey Field Crew Chief to join our Northeast Municipal Engineering (NEME) Services Group. This full-time, year-round role involves providing comprehensive survey support to our team of Land Surveyors, Project Managers, Licensed Engineers, and Construction Managers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Survey Crew Chief, your primary duties will include:

  • Exhibiting self-motivation and a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in all facets of Boundary and Topographic surveying.
  • Utilizing Trimble Surveying Equipment, which is advantageous.
  • Employing software and tools to create base plans effectively.
  • Completing tasks under the guidance of the Lead Surveyor, Project Manager, or Project Engineer.
  • Exhibiting excellent writing and communication abilities.
  • Engaging in continuous learning to enhance your knowledge both within and outside the organization.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of surveying experience under the supervision of a licensed land surveyor, including at least one year in a crew chief role.
  • A clean driving record.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
