Job Summary



Shockwave Medical seeks a skilled Territory Manager to drive sales growth and increase customer satisfaction within specified product lines and geography.





  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians.

  • Meet with physicians and hospital staff to determine customers' needs and goals.

  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on products and proper clinical usage.

  • Attend procedures in hospital operating rooms to advise on product usage and gain insight into specific needs.

  • Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory.

  • Partner with clinical, field clinical reps, marketing, R&D, and other business units to identify selling opportunities and present to potential clients.

  • Build and maintain solid customer relationships.

  • Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and ability to speak clinically to physicians.

  • Complete timely reports, including sales summary reports, expense reports, and product tracking reports.

  • Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company.

  • Comply with all corporate compliance, FDA, medical device, quality standards, and ethics.



Requirements





  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 2 years' territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred).

  • Successful sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, coronary sales experience with peripheral influence preferred but not required.

  • Ability to meet and exceed assigned sales plan on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within the assigned territory.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Must not be debarred by FDA for work in any Medical Device business.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.



Market Range: $120,000 - $125,000 plus commission.
