Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Novant Health. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Manage patient records, schedules, and communication.
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
