Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a medical office setting. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with providers to assess, plan, and implement patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of quality and compassion. Your expertise will be essential in delivering exemplary patient care, communicating effectively with patients and colleagues, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  1. Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with providers.
  2. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to prescribing requirements.
  3. Conduct routine EKGs, document results, and maintain accurate patient records.
  4. Provide patient education on office policies, medications, disease management, and home treatments.
  5. Assist providers with exams, minor office surgery, and other clinical procedures.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and instruments, ensuring proper sterilization and disposal of biohazard waste.
  7. Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a medical office setting, preferably with a focus on patient care and clinical support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, providers, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to maintaining accurate records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines, and ensuring patient confidentiality.
