IP Legal Billing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IP Legal Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our billing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of intellectual property billing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client guidelines.
  • Partner with attorneys to review and edit pre-bills, making any necessary changes or adjustments.
  • Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) inventory reporting.
  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve billing issues and inquiries.
  • Implement and maintain billing schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal billing, specifically in intellectual property.
  • Proven experience in WIP and A/R inventory reporting.
  • Strong ability to partner effectively with attorneys and other key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
