Key Responsibilities
The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our guests. Responsibilities include:
- Providing top-notch service to customers at all times.
- Welcoming and registering guests, ensuring room assignments meet special requests whenever feasible.
- Maintaining a solid understanding of reservation processes, including taking reservations and managing cancellations.
- Efficiently handling guest check-ins and checkouts with a professional and friendly approach.
- Ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each shift, adhering to company cash handling policies.
- Communicating special requests, late checkouts, and specific needs to the housekeeping team.
- Receiving and relaying mail, phone calls, and written messages for guests.
- Responding to inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining options, and travel directions.
- Processing room charges, food and beverage charges, and other guest expenses accurately using the property management system.
- Maintaining a clean and organized Front Desk area, free from safety hazards.
- Possessing thorough knowledge of hotel services, staff, room types, rates, and loyalty programs.
- Exhibiting proper telephone etiquette.
- Understanding emergency procedures thoroughly.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Proficiency in computer systems.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
