Key Responsibilities

The Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our guests. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing top-notch service to customers at all times.
  • Welcoming and registering guests, ensuring room assignments meet special requests whenever feasible.
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of reservation processes, including taking reservations and managing cancellations.
  • Efficiently handling guest check-ins and checkouts with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Ensuring all financial transactions are balanced at the end of each shift, adhering to company cash handling policies.
  • Communicating special requests, late checkouts, and specific needs to the housekeeping team.
  • Receiving and relaying mail, phone calls, and written messages for guests.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, dining options, and travel directions.
  • Processing room charges, food and beverage charges, and other guest expenses accurately using the property management system.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized Front Desk area, free from safety hazards.
  • Possessing thorough knowledge of hotel services, staff, room types, rates, and loyalty programs.
  • Exhibiting proper telephone etiquette.
  • Understanding emergency procedures thoroughly.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in computer systems.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
