Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Welcome and register guests, assigning rooms and accommodating special requests whenever feasible.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of reservation systems and procedures, including cancellations.
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins and checkouts with professionalism.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and maintain balance at the end of each shift, adhering to company policies.
- Communicate special requests and late checkouts to the housekeeping team.
- Receive and relay messages for guests, ensuring clear communication.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions.
- Process room charges and payments accurately, following all cash handling protocols.
- Keep the Front Desk area organized, clean, and safe for guests and staff.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, staff roles, and operational hours.
- Stay informed about loyalty programs and current promotions.
- Exhibit proper telephone etiquette and develop familiarity with emergency procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
