OVERVIEW:

Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) is seeking to recruit THREE (3) A&P Licensed (or soon to be licensed) Avionics/Aviation Technicians to become part of our esteemed team of professionals. You will be responsible for enhancing, replacing, and optimizing the functionality of In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems on aircraft for some of the most prestigious airlines globally.

The hourly compensation ranges from $31.44 to $41.80, contingent upon your experience level.

(These rates incorporate Geographical Differential for the specified location and will vary based on applicable licenses and experience.) Starting salaries increase with additional years of experience).

This is a full-time, direct hire role, providing complete medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance benefits.

WHAT YOU'

WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, you will utilize your A&P license and technical skills to conduct line maintenance on various airlines, both inside and outside the aircraft cabin.

Your duties will encompass the maintenance of Airframe, Powerplant, and In-Flight Entertainment/Connectivity systems as directed by local management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute maintenance, preventive maintenance, and modifications to Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) In-flight Entertainment Systems on aircraft in compliance with FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA Regulations.
- Conduct built-in test (BIT) and manual assessments of Panasonic Avionics Corporation IFE systems.

- Diagnose electronic units, cabling, or seat consoles experiencing failures down to the line replaceable modules, applying your knowledge of electronic principles.

- Identify necessary repairs to restore operational functionality, which may involve the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.

- Perform maintenance evaluations on Customer aircraft for various airlines.
- Operate a vehicle on airport premises and around aircraft.
- Utilize airline communication equipment.
- Interact and communicate with customers.
- Document testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding systems.
- Assist in managing spare inventory.
- Undertake other related tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Airframe & Powerplant License, or a comparable certification.
- Must successfully pass a background and drug screening (including marijuana).
- Valid driver's license required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (including night or graveyard shifts, as airports operate 24/7).
- 0–1 year of experience in a mechanical or electrical technician role through work or education is preferred but not mandatory.

- General knowledge of fundamental electrical mechanics or related experience acquired through commercial aviation, military service, or technical education is highly preferred, but not required.

- 1+ years of IFE or avionics experience is highly preferred, but not required.

- Ability to climb and work from ladders or platforms, and endure sitting, standing, bending, or twisting for extended periods.

- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate under extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces for prolonged periods.

- Proficient in reading, comprehending, and following instructions, procedures, blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and verbal instructions in English.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
