Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for crafting visually engaging and impactful designs that embody the organization's brand identity across various platforms and initiatives. This pivotal member of the marketing team will oversee the creative brand strategies for all promotional materials. The Graphic Designer's contributions will enhance audience engagement, marketing efforts, merchandise, sponsorship initiatives, and the overall visual representation in the community.

We seek a skilled, enthusiastic, and innovative creative professional who understands the strategic power of visuals and can manage multiple projects concurrently. Experience in a dynamic environment, particularly within the sports industry, is essential; candidates should be comfortable working outside of conventional business hours for events and games.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and produce visually striking designs that adhere to the brand guidelines and marketing goals.
  • Create a variety of graphic assets, including logos, signage, social media graphics, website components, email layouts, advertisements, promotional content, sales presentations, and merchandise designs.
  • Transform marketing strategies and concepts into visually appealing designs that effectively convey key messages and reflect the brand's essence.
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality design output across different platforms, maintaining brand integrity and visual harmony.
  • Stay informed about design trends, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously enhance and innovate the brand's visual identity. Identify new opportunities to promote the organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, ticketing, social media, and merchandise, to ensure designs effectively support their initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adhere to budget constraints in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure production quality standards are met for various marketing materials.
  • Maintain an organized archive of design assets, including source files, for easy access and utilization by the marketing team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a graphic designer; experience in the professional sports sector is required.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and versatility in creating visually impactful work.
  • Solid understanding of branding principles and the ability to apply them consistently across various mediums.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, color theory, typography, and layout principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in design work.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for soccer and a solid understanding of sports culture and trends.
