Job Summary

La Clinica de Familia Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with front office functions, including answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and providing general administrative support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical terminology course preferred.
  • One year of experience in a medical records or front office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
